The BrandXDev website serves as a clearinghouse for some of my software efforts.
Such projects include:

Petal - maintain precision permissions settings (owner, group, mode) on trees of files.

Recon - catch SSL certificate problems before your users do.

Erni - run daemons and interactive tools as users which have no shell. (Replace 'su -c'.)
There's also a brief look at upgrading Tomcat from v4 to v5and v5.0 to v5.5. (The upgrade from v5.5 to v6.0 is straightforward, so there is no guide.)
